I would like to thank Elena again for this experience, it was great. On the first day of the 12 day course I was skeptical and didn’t even think there would be such a jump (in hindsight even my teachers in the course said I made a huge jump even though I was below average in my course). After two weeks, when I started to have a dialogue about my course, I realized that I have a lot to say and most importantly, I have ideas of what to say.

Yesterday our intensive conversation course with Elena Vasilieva ended. It even made me sad – we were so used to these online meetings)) and to each other. A little about the process: the lessons consist of thematic dialogs, description of pictures, situations, our experiences – everything that is necessary for the exam. Elena actively helps, prompts, corrects, gives advice. And after each lesson we receive texts with sound – for reading, listening and understanding, letters. And also a recording of the lesson – you can work through the material again, listen to it from the outside)).

It turns out that you can also communicate with a small vocabulary – not with gestures, but in real German!
And Elena has some interesting tricks for forming dialogs from individual sentences, which she introduced to us.
But when the person you’re talking to uses a large number of words and forms complex sentences, you want to get your act together – and I learn verbs😊.

Elena is an excellent psychologist. She communicates very tactfully with the group members, encourages, praises and pays attention to successes. She takes the lessons from the simple to the complex and unobtrusively integrates us into German society.
And many of us will take B2 as the next level. Fortunately, Elena has that too!

Good morning, I would like to share my experience of participating in the conversation intensive course with Elena. Let me start with the result – I got B1💪. I would also like to mention the pleasant and cozy atmosphere in class, which helps you to speak even if you have any blocks and fears. It is as if Elena accompanies each participant, everyone has time and space and everyone gets feedback and individual recommendations on what to pay attention to and what to focus on. This is very important and can only bring you closer to your goal)))

And of course, after such intensive training in describing images of all kinds and creating dialog at the end of the course, even if you have no imagination, you already have so much experience and “options for action” that you will find something to tell in the exam anyway)))))

Good day! I received my exam result today – B1 passed!

I would like to share my experience with the “Intensive Conversation Course”.

This course gave me the opportunity to understand the structure of dialog construction. After practicing 5-10 topics of dialogues, you learn how to build a dialogue on each topic!!! And more importantly – with any partner!!! For me it was also a very valuable experience – an improvised dialog with a partner you don’t know, whose level of preparation and standard phrases you don’t know. By the way, during the exam we didn’t have the opportunity to choose a conversation partner and I was paired with a complete stranger from another group. So once you’ve worked through the dialogs with Elena in the course, the fear of working with an interlocutor is gone. This gives you the opportunity to be calm and confident in the exam!!!

One piece of advice I would like to give to anyone who is still on their way to the exam. Sign up for the course in advance, not just 2 weeks before the exam.
I took the course with Elena about 2 months before the exam and still had time to reflect on everything, polish and expand my vocabulary. Time is your best helper in preparing for the exam. Don’t put off the course until the last minute!

I would like to thank you, Elena, for your work. For such a great and important project. We all have a deficit in speaking in the integration courses. It is a great idea to bring people together and offer them to communicate under the guidance of a teacher. I believed in myself, I improved my speaking in three weeks. The opportunity to see and hear myself from the outside is an incredible benefit for the training. Great respect, Elena! Everything was humorous, very pleasant and to the point, there were many psychological solutions that helped me to open up.

There is a desire to move forward. This course is for us to really speak up, even if we don’t think it will happen to us.

I would like to write more good words to your address, but it is impossible to put everything into words. You do a very good job for people. You help to understand grammar, you help to get rid of the “complex” that only you can’t do it and everyone else does it so well. Sitting at home, we don’t realize that it’s not easy for others, that everyone like us learns to speak, write, listen 👂 “with effort” by trial and error.

Group lessons are very helpful to see your own mistakes and the mistakes of others; to understand how to deal with them, how to correct them, and even to help others…….., in the beginning we are all shy…., and then you give us hope and inspiration that everything is not as bad as it seemed, and how good we are…… and we don’t even want to finish the lessons…..🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
